Meet the Team

I started The Face Clear Project because I saw how often skin health is overlooked, especially in communities where access to basic hygiene is limited.
Growing up, I noticed that conversations about skin care usually focused on cosmetics or appearance, not on health, and that people without access to simple products like sunscreen or facial cleanser were often left out entirely. It didn’t feel right that something as basic as clean, healthy skin could depend on where you live or what you can afford.
That realization inspired me to create The Face Clear Project — a student-led, nonprofit initiative focused on fundraising and education to promote skin hygiene and sun safety in underserved communities.
Since our founding, our team has:
Donated hundreds of hygiene products — including 250+ bottles of sunscreen — to Michigan homeless shelters.
Reached 500+ individuals in person and 10,000+ online globally through skin health awareness campaigns.
Partnered with AIM at Melanoma, a global nonprofit, to expand advocacy and research support.
Raised $1,000+ for melanoma prevention research through student-led fundraisers.
Every event, donation, and conversation reinforces why we exist: to make skin health accessible, affordable, and understood.
Taking care of your skin isn’t a luxury, it’s a form of self-care and dignity.Through The Face Clear Project, I hope to continue building a community that empowers others with both knowledge and resources — so that healthy skin can be a right, not a privilege.
